BIOGRAPHY

Christopher Oliva is an award winning director and editor from Chicago, Illinois.

His most recent directorial effort, SPACEMAN., has been exhibited around the world at forty-three film festivals, winning fourteen awards along the way.

Christopher also edited the official FIFA World Cup 2022 music video, Tahayya, performed by Humood and international platinum winner Maher Zain. It has received global recognition, with over 72 million views on YouTube.

Additionally, he served as editor for the feature film, Rupture, starring Billy Zane, which went on to win the Audience Award at the 2021 Red Sea Film Festival. His most recent editorial feature, Best Thing, is currently in the final stages of post-production.

As a commercial producer and editor, his work can be seen with a variety of brands including Crest, Aussie, and Heartgard Plus. More recently, he’s collaborated with Petrol Advertising to contribute to the AAA game space participating in the universes of Call of Duty, Doom and Saints Row.

Christopher is adjunct faculty at the College of DuPage, where he seeks to foster excitement for cinema in all his students.

Christopher holds his MFA from DePaul University, and is based in Los Angeles and Chicago.
